OptisoHD Detector

LSO crystals are cut to just 4 mm elements and arranged with no gaps between detector blocks — providing very high spatial resolution. This smaller crystal size reveals structures not visible at 6.3 mm; in one head and neck case, two additional small lesions were identified.

High-quality raw data from the LSO detectors and Time-of-Flight is reconstructed using measured point spread functions (PSF) in an iterative algorithm. HD•PET more precisely accounts for the line of response positioning — yielding visually sharper clinical images.
